Has been practicing yoga since she first moved from the USA to Frankfurt in the 1990s.
Since yoga was a huge help during the birth of her first child, her teacher asked her to lead German Prenatal Yoga classes at a local non-profit health center, which she did for 2 years. Five international moves and 20 years later, she’s now a certified Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga instructor. Lisa combines the playful, spontaneous, Kundalini-inspired Kripalu yoga of Maharishi Desai that she first learned with flowing Vinyasa elements.
She learned the basics of Yoga history, philosophy, anatomy, pranayama and meditation here in Frankfurt in her first teacher training.
Lisa’s early career in radio journalism and psychology come through in her dedication to passing along what she knows. She’s both curious and passionate about the transformative power of yoga towards more vitality, joy and peace of mind.
Lisa is teaching a Slow Vinyasa Class Tuesdays in English.
